Louisiana State University All-American basketball player Seimone Augustus won the 2006 State Farm Wade Trophy, presented during the NCAA Women's Final Four in Boston, MA. The Wade Trophy, considered the heisman of women's college basketball, is named after legendary three-time national champion Delta State University coach Lily Margaret Wade and honors the year's best college basketball player. State Farm became the title sponsor of the Wade Trophy in 2002.
