State Farm Florida and the Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) filed a joint motion for a 30-day continuance of a hearing before the Division of Administrative Hearings, originally scheduled for November 17. Update: The judge in the case has granted the requested continuance and a new hearing date of Dec. 17 has been set.
State Farm Florida is hopeful that continued discussions with the OIR will result in an amicable resolution of the matter pending before DOAH, making the administrative action unnecessary.
