State Farm recently announced several new partnerships that will expand Road Ranger motorist assistance programs in Central and South Florida. These new sponsorships will add a total of seven Road Ranger vehicles to patrol I-95, I-595, and I-75 in Broward and Palm Beach counties, I-4 in Orlando, and the Selmon Expressway in Tampa.
Road Rangers respond to accidents to make our roads safe and clear for travel by:
State Farm’s mission is to help people recover from the unexpected. Whether it’s helping after a crash, a flat tire in the middle of rush hour, or an engine that gives out in an isolated place, our support of the Road Rangers is one more way to help fulfill that mission. State Farm and the Road Rangers will be there when the unexpected happens.
This sponsorship also demonstrates how public and private partnerships can work together to create safer roads. As an auto insurance company with a long-standing commitment to improving auto safety nationwide, State Farm feels it’s important to support the safety services provided by the Florida Road Rangers.
This commitment to auto safety has far reaching effects. In addition to the new sponsorships in Central and South Florida, State Farm currently sponsors patrols on the Florida’s Turnpike, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and Colorado’s E-470 Highway. The success of these programs has encouraged State Farm to move forward with the goal of sponsoring similar programs throughout the United States.
This partnership has far-ranging benefits: funding from State Farm provides a long-term, non-tax funding source enabling Florida’s Road Rangers to continue to do what they do best; and it increases the safety and protection of drivers traveling along Florida’s roads.
