Risk, Responsibility, Reality: How Insurance Works

Risk, Responsibility, Reality: How Insurance Works is a supplemental learning tool for high school teachers to educate students about insurance and risk management. This program is a DVD with supplemental materials designed to explain the basics of insurance, especially as they are relevant to high school students now or in the foreseeable future. It will help students apply basic rules to everyday situations they can relate to. The program also promotes personal responsibility as a route to controlling risk.

This kit replaces and is an updated alternative to Choice-Chance-Control.

IEF, a nonprofit charitable organization founded in Indianapolis in 1988, strives to improve the understanding of insurance and its role in society through the education of teachers and students. State Farm® has been a long-time supporter of IEF.
