State Farm is monitoring Gustav

Bloomington, Illinois, August 29, 2008 – State Farm is monitoring Tropical Storm Gustav and its possible impact on the Gulf Coast. Gustav is moving away from Jamaica and could become a hurricane again. We are evaluating our customers’ needs in all areas that could potentially be impacted.  State Farm’s greatest concern is for the safety of everyone who could be affected by this storm.

If evacuations are necessary, we want our customers to know we will be ready to help them once they return to their homes. We are preparing for this storm and are committed to helping our customers when needed.

Here are some suggestions on what to do before a storm hits:

Again, State Farm wants everyone to be safe and if necessary, evacuate to a safe location.
